you can register a company without a geographic indicator (e.g., change "Shanghai YiSan Trading" to just "YiSan Trading", please note that the company's name should be in Chinese, it just a sample for easy understanding.) if Your company meets both requirements:
1. You have invested in and registered companies using the same core name (e.g., "YiSan") in at least 3 different provinces.
2. Each of those companies has been operating for 1 year or more.
Example:
"Shanghai YiSan Trading" → "YiSan Trading" ?
Only if YiSan Zhejiang, YiSan Jiangsu, and YiSan Guangdong have all been open for over a year.
Bottom line:
No geographic prefix unless you've already expanded across 3+ provinces with 1?year?old subsidiaries.
